Easy Misthi Doi (Sweet Curd/ Yogurt) Recipe

Once again I am back with a very easy and delicious recipe ❤️




Trust me once you make it at home, you will never buy again this from the shop. You have a guest coming? Grab this recipe and you will not regret it!!

Today we are going to make Mishti Doi (Sweet Curd/Yogurt) which is a Bengali dessert and almost every one of us love it so much. It is an essential part of our wedding menu as well. So let’s get started ❤️

The Ingredients:

  • Double/Single Cream
  • Any Natural Yogurt
  • Condensed Milk


How To Make the Mishti Doi (Sweet Curd/Yogurt)

Step 1: Preheat your oven at 180-200 degree Celsius.

Step 2: Mix all of the three ingredients into a bowl.

Step 3: Put the mixture into a pot you want to make curd with. Put a cover/ foil wrap on top of the pot.

Step 4: After 30 minutes turn off the oven and simply put the pot inside the oven. Make sure the oven is switched off.


Step 5: After 15 minutes take out the Misthi doi, keep it in the fridge for cooling. Once it cools down, take it out of the fridge. Garnish with cardamom or pistachios and enjoy your delicious Sweet Curd!!!


I have made the Misthi Doi in 3 different types of Pot and they were perfectly fine. So you can use any kinds of the pot as you like. 
This total amount of Mishti Doi can serve 4-6 people.
